MainStay Suites North - Central York

The room was nice. Bed comfy. Comforters are always too heavy and feel like weighted blankets. Breakfast was minimal but ok. I do not like not having someone at desk to check out. I range bell twice to get a receipt, waited 10 min, no one comes. Not good for business travelers who need foe reimbursement. Face to face goes a long way.

This is a wonderful hotel- very quiet, clean, and accommodating. Victoria, who worked at the front desk during our stay, was very attentive and took amazing care of us. She really made our stay superb. The beds are extremely comfortable, the suites are huge, and everything is clean & quiet. My family has allergies to animals so finding a hotel in York that doesn’t allow pets was difficult- this was a great place for us. We didn’t have any allergy issues. We look forward to staying here again when we return to the area.

This is the 2nd MainStay Suites we stayed at, and it was a great experience! The rooms were impeccably clean, with a fresh smell when we walked in. All of the furnishings were very modern, and having a full size fridge was a treat. (The ice maker in the freezer didn't work, but it was so minor we didn't bother to report it.) At first we were concerned about potential noise since they could only have us on the 1st floor, but it ended up being totally quiet and we had a restful stay. Although the decor was fine, one complaint is the use of "cool white" light bulbs which made it seem somewhat sterile. It's minor and wouldn't impact future visits, but many hotels do this and it's a pet peeve. Overall, it was a great value for the price, and it will be a top contender for future visits to York!

Victoria at the front desk was absolutely fantastic at check in. Despite people walking in without a reservation that she found a way to quickly accommodate the whole check-in process, was seamless and quick, and I greeted with a brilliant friendly energetic personality and smile. Absolutely an asset to this property Victoria should get 10 stars her exceptional persona. The room was also very exceptionally clean and outstanding experience overall.

We're staying for a month while we remodel our house and 2 weeks in, we're very happy here. The hotel is very clean and smells nice. Fran in housekeeping is amazing! It's rare to leave your room and not find someone cleaning from the lobby to the 4 floors. We can get clean linens anytime we ask. You can schedule housekeeping at the front desk for anytime that works with your schedule. The other day Fran was running late as they were packed, but she still came in and cleaned around us, and even tucked our son into bed, it was adorable. Victoria at the front desk is amazing she really keeps everything on task and is just so pleasant. We travel a lot including 2+ weeks a year in Orlando at the theme parks, and Victoria and Fran are "Mousekeeping" level staff!

I was at a hotel previous to this one that was a nightmare, and needed to stay almost 2 weeks. (Currently 6 into my stay) From the moment I walked in to the front desk they were welcoming and professional. Anytime I am in the lobby or see someone who works here they are personable. The rooms are amazing. Spotless the moment you walk into the door. They are spacious and you can not hear a lot of noise from your neighbors except some light steps above you. The sliding door to the bathroom is my favorite lol. No other hotel in York will get my business except this one from now on. Thank you mainstay!

I think this place is great if you plan to stay for a few weeks. It has plenty of parking and is located in a very good spot. The manager is very friendly, and Victoria, the receptionist, is also very friendly. It's a pleasure to arrive at places like this. I recommend it 100%.
